1956 Ford F100, Fully Restored ‘Resto-Mod’ Style Pickup with an extensive range of high quality features

The main features include high quality refinishing and paint work on the body and chassis, gorgeous custom interior with chromed and functional items, high performance engine and transmission, numerous drivability and convenience features, and a long list of many other desirable and functional features. After restoration, the pickup has been driven less than 200 highway miles to ensure all systems function properly, independently and together.
This gorgeous pickup is solidly based on a ground up restoration starting with a custom JPL Street Rods frame that had all welds filed and sanded smooth then the frame was epoxy coated in the color as the exterior of the body. Upgraded front suspension and disc brakes were applied to give the pickup straight and firm stopping ability and rack & pinion steering to give the pickup a sports car feel. At the rear the pickup as a Ford 9 inch with JPL posi-traction rear end and comfortable leaf springs. A custom aluminum fuel cell is tucked neatly under the finished wood floor of the bed. Fuel access to the tank has been engineered via a hidden motor-operated bed slat that maintains the smooth appearance of the entire body.
The engine compartment and driveline features a GM High Performance, robust, ZZ4 350HP/405 Ft/lbs engine with high-flow aluminum heads, 4 barrel carburetor, custom header exhaust system, Optimum starting battery and numerous Billet Specialties and March Performance brand parts, mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission thru a high performance torque converter and thru a ‘custom’ aluminum driveshaft to the JPL posi-traction in the Ford 9” rear end. The engine is kept cool with a high efficiency water pump, full size aluminum radiator and an automatic electric cooling fan setup.
At the outside, Southern ‘rust free’ cab and doors were sand blasted then rust proofed prior to priming and final painting. The bed of the original body was sand blasted and rust proofed prior to priming and final painting. The wood bed was refinished with 10 coats of Urethane clear on both sides. As an extra touch to maintain a smooth exterior, the rain gutter was removed and ‘Foose’ designed wheels, wrapped with Michelin brand tires, accent the exterior. For safety, the pickup features new halogen sealed-beam headlights and LED rear lighting.
A full-tilting ‘fiberglass’ front clip and shortened front frame rails allow for a custom fit chrome bumper that enhances the ‘resto-mod’. Peterbilt latches provides convenience unlocking of the front clip and keeps the front clip secure when it is being driven.
Flawless white leather with highlight stitching and a custom overhead console with ‘Ididit’ brand adjustable chrome steering column, dash gauges and pedals makes an immediate impression of the high quality appearance of the interior. Other features includes sets this pickup apart from all others
Vintage Air brand air conditioning, special interior lighting, and a great music system in combination with adjustable seat and steering column features, seat belts, high performance engine with automatic transmission, power brakes and steering, intermediate windshield wipers, and inside mirror with illuminated gear selector display make this pickup, a true pleasure to drive.
This pickup was professionally restored over several years with 1,846 recorded man-hours of labor and a parts, materials and supplies cost that has exceeded $70,000.
Professionally appraised in excess of $125,000, all offers will be considered
